<GON=<MON (symmetry of the bisector)

<OEG=<OGE (isosceles triangle OEG formed by radii GO and EO)

Similarly <OMD=<ODM.

∆s NOD and NOE are congruent as are GOE and MOD, so the chords MD and GE have equal length.
