Amy Travelled 4800km by air which formed 2/5 of her trip to England. One third of the whole trip, she travelled by train and the rest of the journey she completed by taxi. What was the distance travelled by taxi?

let the total distance travelled be x km

(2/5)(x)=4800

x=4800(5/2)

x=12000

Total distance of trip is 12000 km

Distance travelled by train=(1/3)(12000)=4000 km

Distance travelled by taxi=12000-(4800+4000)=12000-8800=3200 km
