We know that the number of 2-page entries added to the number of 1-page entries must come to 10.

So we can make a table of all the ways to do this:

Number of 2-page entries Number of 1-page entries
10
1 (2 pages) 8
2 (4 pages) 6
3 (6 pages) 4
4 (8 pages) 2
5 (10 pages) 0

From the table we can see that there are 6 ways to do this because there are 6 rows in the table. In each row the total of pages comes to 10.
