Write the coordinates of B'

Use a graph paper to answer the following questions:-

i) Plot the points A(4,6) and B(1,2)

ii) If A' is the image of A when reflected in the x-axis , write the coordinates ofA'

iii) If B' is the image of B when reflected in the line AA', write the coordinates of B'.`

i) A(4,6), B(1,2) ii) A'(4,-6) iii) AA' is the line x=4. B is 3 to the left of this line so its reflection B' is 3 to the right. Therefore the x-coord of B' is 3 is 3+4=7. The y-coord is not affected so B'(7,2).
