All the fractions except one (7/8) have a numerator bigger than the denominator, which makes them improper fractions which are all bigger than 1. 7/8 is less than 1 so it's the least. Now, to decide which order the rest of them come, we need to convert them to a whole number plus a fraction: 32/9=3 5/9; 7/2=3 1/2; 13/4=3 1/4. All the whole numbers are the same so we need to compare 5/9, 1/2 and 1/4. To do this we use the lowest common denominator which is 36 (because 9, 2 and 4 all go into 36 an exact number of times). 9 goes into 36 4 times multiplied by 5 is 20 means 5/9=20/36; 1/2=18/36 and 1/4=9/36. The least of 20, 18 and 9 is 9, then 18, then 20. So the order of all fractions is 7/8, 13/4, 7/2 and 32/9.
