3x + 9y = 11

9y = 11 - 3x

y = (11 - 3x)/9

6x + 3y = 7xy

6x + 3(11 - 3x)/9 = 7x(11 -3x)/9

multiply both sides by 9

54x +3(11 -3x) = 7x(11 -3x)

54x +33 -9x = 77x -21x^2

45x +33 = 77x -21x^2

21x^2 -32x +33 = 0

quadratic formula: if ax^2 +bx + c = 0 then x = (-b +- sqrt(b^2 -4ac) ) / 2a

x = (32 +- sqrt((-32)^2 - 4*21*33) / 2*21

x = (32 +- sqrt(1024 - 2772) ) / 42

x = (32 +- sqrt(-1748) ) / 42

can't do square root of a negative number, so there's no solution

Answer:  No solution.  There is no value for x and y that will satisfy both equations.
