Note the scales of the two axes. The y-intercept is clearly seen at y=95. The scales of the axes were chosen to exaggerate the "kink" between about -1 and 1. The graph also shows that there is only one real zero at x=-1.7 approx. If the constant term in the polynomial were to be reduced appropriately, there would be 3 real zeroes (3 x-intercepts).
