1) Required equation:

y = -1500x +25000           ( -1500 because withdraws from her account every month)

where x = number of months passed

y = total balance left

2) Answer to second question

y = -1500(8) +25000

y = 13000

So after 8 months she will be left with $13000 in her account

3)Answer to 3rd question:

1000 = -1500x + 25000

=> -1500x = 1000-25000

=> -1500x = -24000

=> x = 24000/1500

=>x = 16

So after 16 months she will be left with only $1000
