1 Answer

Let the time in month when two trees are of same height be m.

then,

6+2.5m = 12.6+1.4m

or 2.5m - 1.4m = 12.6 - 6

or 1.1m = 6.6

or m = 6.6/1.1 = 6

So in 6 months the height of both trees will be same.
