5 pots need 6 bags of soil, so 1 pot needs 6/5 bags=1⅕bags.

Maybe an easier way is to start with 5 bags, then each pot uses 1 bag. The bag left over now has to be divided between 5 pots, so they get one fifth each. In all, each pot has one bag plus one fifth which is 1⅕ bags.
