The binomial method will be more accurate for a margin of 0.05 compared to 0.5:

x=2(1±0.05/8)^(1/3)=2(1±0.05/24)=2(1±0.00208)=(1.99583,2.00417).

which compares well with (∛7.95,∛8.05)=(1.99582,2.00416).
