4 magazines weigh 3/8 pound. Each magazine weighs (1/4)(3/8)=3/32 lb.

1lb=16oz, so each magazine weighs (3/32)16=3/2=1.5oz.

So the unit weight is 3/32lb per magazine (or 1.5oz per magazine).
