When x>5 this is the parabola y=x^2-5x which has a vertex at (2.5,-6.25). The parabola is U-shaped (red) passing through the origin. When x<5, we have y=5x-x^2 which is an inverted U shape (blue) with vertex (2.5,6.25). This is a reflection of the other parabola using the x axis as a mirror (the red and blue curves show how the two curves reflect one another):

Note where the curves intersect on the x axis. However, when x>0, y is also positive and when x<0 y is also negative. So part of the curves as shown are absent. Between x=0 and 5 we have the blue "hill" and the red "valley" is absent; when x>5 we have the red part of the curve and the blue is absent. Similarly, when x<0 the red part of the curve is absent and the blue part is present. The graph therefore represents a tilted 2 shape as a "hybrid" of the two parabolas.
