If A and B are rectangular vectors, then we can write:

A=4i+5j+6k and B=xi+yj+zk

The right-hand rule is:

X-product of unit vectors i j k
i 0 k -j
j -k 0 i
k j -i 0

Their cross-product A={x,y,z}{4,5,6}=5xk-6xj-4yk+6yi+4zj-5zi=

(6y-5z)i+(4z-6x)j+(5x-4y)k={6y-5z,4z-6x,5x-4y}.
