The dividend is of the form 6x+12, where x is the divisor. So x must be greater than 12. In the UK we still measure body weight in stones and pounds, whereas in the US weight is usually in pounds. There are 14 pounds in a stone. If a young student weighs 96 pounds, what is his weight in stones and pounds? That's the question.
