The volume of the ball is 4/3(pi)r^3, where r is the radius, which is half of 12cm=6cm. The volume is therefore about 904.779cc. Density is mass divided by volume, so if m is the mass, 7.8=m/904.779. m=7.8*904.779=7057.27g approx.
