4x2+25y2+50y-75=0,

4x2+25(y2+2y)-75=0,

4x2+25(y2+2y+1-1)-75=0,

4x2+25(y+1)2-25-75=0,

4x2+25(y+1)2=100 is the equation of an ellipse origin (centre) at (0,-1).

Divide through by 100:

x2/25+(y+1)2/4=1 is the standard form.
