Aubree wants to order bags with the FFA logo embroidered on them. One company will charge $9.65 per bag plus a one-time setup fee of $43.  Another company will charge $8.40 per bag plus a one-time $58 fee. For what number of bags would the cost from the two companies be the same?

Let the number of bags such that cost of the two companies shall be same be x.

then,

43 + 9.65x = 58 +  8.40x

or 9.65x - 8.4x = 58-43

or  1.25x = 15

or x = 15/1.25 = 12

So number of bags = 12
