a) Which state has more numbers of students enrolled for the exam and by how much?

b) IF 1/2 of the students in state  A passed the exam and 3/5 of the students in state B passed the exam,find the total numbers of students passed in exam

a) State A has more enrolled students by 875000-725000=150,000.

b) 1/2*875000+3/5*725000=437500+435000=872,500 student passed the exam altogether.
