tanA = sinA/cosA, so cosAtanA=tanAcosA=sinA by multiplying through by cosA.

Or since tan=opposite/adjacent, cos=adjacent/hypotenuse and sin=opposite/hypotenuse, sin/cos=opposite/adjacent because hypotenuse cancels out. Therefore tan=sin/cos, or tanAcosA=sinA.
