For a height H inches, Z=(H-29.8)/1.2.

Let Z1=(29.5-29.8)/1.2=-0.3/1.2=-0.25; Z2=(31.5-29.8)/1.2=1.7/1.2.

P(Z2)-P(Z1)=0.9217-0.4013=0.5204 or 52.04% probability of height between 29.5 and 31.5 inches.
