28a²b/4ab.

First divide the numbers: 28/4=7.

Now take a: a in the denominator divides into a² in the numerator. Since a²=a×a, one of the a’s cancels out the one in the denominator, leaving a in the numerator.

Finally, the b’s cancel so we are left with 7a as the answer.
