2a^2+4ab+2b^2-50^2

2(a^2+2ab+b^2)-50^2

2(a+b)^2 - 50^2     this expression can be treated as the difference of two squares, giving

{rt(2)(a+b) - 50}{rt(2)(a+b) + 50}

So then, the factors of the original expression are: {rt(2)(a+b) - 50}   and   {rt(2)(a+b) + 50}
