D(t)=2000-1500e-0.05t is shown above. When t=0 (initial condition) D(0)=2000-1500=500 as shown by the y-intercept. After a month it rises to about 573. After many months the demand starts to approach 2000 because the exponential term gets smaller. So demand cannot exceed 2000.
