cos(x) cannot equal -5 because the range of cos(x) is [-1,1].

cos(x)<0 and sec(x)<0 for π/2<x<3π/2;

sin(x)>0 and csc(x)>0 for π/2<x<π; sin(x)<0 and csc(x)<0 for π<x<3π/2;

tan(x)<0 and cot(x)<0 for π/2<x<π; tan(x)>0 and cot(x)>0 for π<x<3π/2.
