The ratio is 15/75 = 1/5

x/3 = 1/5
x = 1/5(3)
x = 3/5
x = 0.6 of a chick

Are you sure you typed the problem correctly? I seriously doubt
that you can by 0.6 of a chick.

(15 + 0.6)/(75 + 3) = 1/5
15.6/78 = 1/5
1/5 = 1/5

Problem statement: I have 75 sheep, 15 chicks & buy 3 more sheep how many more chicks can I buy to keep ratio same?
