I buy 3 oranges and 4 apples for £1.55. Oranges cost 5p more than apples. Can you work out the cost of each fruit?

Cost of apple = a, cost of orange = a+5.

3(a+5)+4a=155p, 7a+15=155, 7a=140, apples, a=20p each and oranges cost 25p each.
