If G is the number of field goals, then they're worth 2G points and F is the number of free throws then they're worth F points. The total number of points is 2G+F=20. We know G=2F so 2G=4F and:

4F+F=20, that is, 5F=20 so F=4 free throws. G=8 field goals.
