-3x - 5y = 14

-3x - 6y = 21

Divide the bottom one by 3: -x - 2y = 7

Multiply by -1: x + 2y = -7

Subtract 2y: x = -2y-7

Substitute: -3(-2y-7) - 5y = 14

6y - 5y + 21 = 14

y + 7 = 0

y = -7

Substitute back into x = -2y - 7: x = 14-7

x = -21 , y = 7
