On a piece of graph paper draw the points (3,1), (6,2), (4,3), (5,2), and (2,1).

For each of those points, draw a line from the origin (0,0) to that point.

The 2 fractions with the same value are the 2 fractions on the same line.

It's 1/3 and 2/6.

Without drawing lines you can do this:

You can multiply anything by 1 and it won't change.

1/3 * 1 = 1/3

Any number over itself equals 1, so you can do this:

1/3 * 2/2 = 2/6

1/3 = 2/6
