line 1: 2x-3y=-2... or y=(2x+2)/3  or y=(2/3)(x+1)

line 2: 3x-2y=12

line 2: 3x-2*(2/3)*(x+1)=12

3x -(4/3)x -4/3=12

(9/3)x -(4/3)x=12+4/3   or (5/3)x=12+4/3

5x=36+4=40

x=40/5=8

y=(2/3)(x+1)=(2/3)*9=6
