i want to know how to start to solve this equation

2x-{x-[3x-(6x+5)]}=4x-1,

2x-{x-[3x-6x-5]}=4x-1,

2x-{x-[-3x-5]}=4x-1,

2x-{x+3x+5}=4x-1,

2x-{4x+5}=4x-1,

2x-4x-5=4x-1,

-2x-5=4x-1,

-2x-4x=-1+5,

-6x=4, x=-4/6=-⅔.

CHECK

LHS: 2x-{x-[3x-(6x+5)]}=-4/3-{-⅔-[-2-(-4+5)]}=

-4/3-{-⅔-[-2-1]}=-4/3-{-⅔+3}=-4/3-7/3=-11/3.

RHS: 4x-1=-8/3-1=-2⅔-1=-3⅔=-11/3.

So LHS=RHS, confirming x=-⅔.
