Factor out Sqrt to give Sqrt[{2 + i(4)}{2 - i(4)}]

Multiply out Sqrt[4 - i(8) + i(8) - i²16]  =
 Combine   Sqrt(4 - i²16)  =

                     4Sqrt(1 - 4i²)
