sqrt(2) * e^ (pi/4) { cos(pi/4 - ln(sqrt(2)))  + i sin(pi/4 - ln (sqrt(2))}

or 2.8 + 1.32 i

Thanks. I was counting on you solving it. It does in fact simplify further by expanding the sin and cos. This removes the √2 at the beginning. And it does confirm my solution.
