2w^2+ 10 w - 48/w^2+10w+16 =                    - 24 = -3*8

2(w^2+5w-24)/(w^2+10w+16) =                       16 = 8*2

2(w+8)(w-3)/(w+8)(w+2) =

2(w-3)/(w+2)
