im trying to buy a elect raditator fan and the clearance i have between the radaitator and fan bolts is 2-1/8 inches they have a fan for sale that is 2.05 i dont know if thats inches or what but is it smaller than 2-1/8 inches and buy how much thank you Wayne

2 and 1/8 inches is the same as,

2 + 1/8 = 2 + 0.125 = 2.125 inches

 

So if the fan is 2.05 inches long then the difference is,

2.125 - 2.05 = 0.075 inches

 

This means that the fan is 0.075 inches smaller than the area you want to put it in.      smiley
