We can ignore the heights because the question is about the weights only. The outlier is 1500.

WITH THE OUTLIER

(1500+338+588+850)/4=3276/4=819 is the mean

WITHOUT THE OUTLIER

(338+588+850)/3=1776/3=592 is the mean
