What data set with 8 pts can give a mean of approx 10 and standard deviation of approx 4?

this tells us that there are 8 numbers (pts).

the mean is 10.

that means you add the 8 numbers together and divide by 8.

the total is around 80.

the standard deviation is the total of the  (square of each number - mean)^2

hope this helps.
