In my book it says plot the points A (0,3) and B (-2,-1) then it says to use a compass and two circles with a radii of 5 one centered on A and on on B. So I did, then it asks "how many points are 5 units from both points A and B" I probably know how to figure it out, but the wording is confusing!

draw the circles and you shall see.

The points of intersection between the two circles, which there should be 2, will be the points 5 units away from both points.

And hence, your answer should be 2 points.
