line 1: 4x -3y=56, or x=(3/4)y+14

line 2: 5x +4y=8

5*[(3/4)y +14]+4y=8

(15/4)y +4y +70=8

[(15+16)/4]y =8-70

(31/4)y=-62

y=-4*62/31=-4*2=-8

x=(3/4)y+14=-6+14=8
