kauz, bak in the 1500's the eleetists av West Yerrop insisted em gotta konvert all

"nativ" werds tu Latin.  "lb" come from Latin "libra" & even that was the short vershun.

full latin was "libra pono" for pound wate

(maebee tu not konfuze it with dog pound?)
