Find the total length of the three cables?
A radio station is going to construct a 6-foot antenna on the roof of the station building. The tower will be supported by three cables, each attached to the top of the tower and to points on the roof of the building that are 8 feet from the base of the tower. Find the total length of the three cables.
Height (h) = 6 ft
Base distance (d) = 8 ft
Length of one cable = √(6² + 8²)
Length of one cable = √(36 + 64)
Length of one cable = 10 ft
Total Lenght of the Cable = 100 x 3
Total Lenght of the Cable = 300 ft ◄ Ans
