6x - 3y = 9 -----------(1)

2x - 2y = 6 -----------(2)

On (1) - 3*(2) we get:

3y = -9

y= -3

putting the value of y = -3 in (2) we get:

2x - 2(-3) = 6

or 2x = 0

or x=0

So x=0 and y= -3
