The solution of the equation is:

2x+32=x+23, x=-9. There is no diagram or description to relate LM to any of these quantities.

Therefore LM=2x+26=-18+26=8; or LM=x+23=-9+23=14.

2x + 26 + 6 = x + 23

2x + 32 = x + 23

2x + 9 = x

x = -9

(Check Answer)

2(-9) + 32 = (-9) + 23

14 =  14
