BUILDING

The base area of the building is area of square plus ¾ of the area of the circle.

Area=900+¾(225π)=900+168.75π=1430.14m². Volume = base area × 44=62,926m³.

GREENHOUSE

First, find the area of the end section: put the two halves of the isosceles triangle together to make a rectangle, area=0.6×2.4=1.44m². The total area of the right triangles on either side of the middle section is the same, so total triangles=2.88m². Bottom section rectangle, area=6×1.2=7.2m². Middle section, two 2.4m squares, area=2×5.76=11.52m². Add these areas: 2.88+7.2+11.52=21.6m².

Volume=end section area × length=21.6×17=367.2m³.
