Find the area of the missing square off of leg (a) if the area of one square is 225 and the area of another is 81? Show work by hand.

My guess is that you have a right triangle with hypotenuse length=225 and one of the legs with length 81, so using Pythagoras’ Theorem, the square of other leg is 225-81=144. So the other leg is √144=12 in length.
