A:B=A/B=52844/17002=26422/8501, so A:B is 26422:8501. We get this by dividing both of the original numbers by 2. This is the lowest form of this ratio. 

If we take it further we get decimals in the approximate ratio. A:B=3.108:1 which tells us A is about 3 times as big as B. 3.108=26422/8501.
