A percentage is the numerator of a fraction where the denominator is 100.

To convert a fraction into a percentage just multiply by 100. So 1/4 as a percentage is 1/4*100=25%.

Whole numbers can also be expressed as percentages. So 1 is 100% and 2 is 200%.

Mixed numbers can also be expressed as a percentage, so 1.5 is 150%.

To convert a percentage into a fraction divide by 100. So 5% is 5/100=1/20.

50% more than 6 is 6+(50/100)*6=6+6/2=6+3=9.
