A percentage is the numerator of a fraction where the denominator is 100.

To convert a fraction into a percentage just multiply by 100. So 1/4 as a percentage is 1/4*100=25%.

Whole numbers can also be expressed as percentages. So 1 is 100% and 2 is 200%.

Mixed numbers can also be expressed as a percentage, so 1.5 is 150%.

To convert a percentage into a fraction divide by 100. So 5% is 5/100=1/20.

50% more than 6 is 6+(50/100)*6=6+6/2=6+3=9.

Provide some specific questions because how you work out percentages depends on the questions. But if you understand fractions, work out your answers in fractions then convert to percentages as indicated here.
