A+J=150 total of pears shared.

A/3=J/2 so J=2A/3.

Substitute for J: A+2A/3=150, 5A/3=150 so 5A=3*150=450, A=450/5=90.

So J=150-90=60.

John has 60 pears and Amy has 90 pears.
